Far enough away from the hustle and bustle, our park is often described as "country quiet." Yet we're just a short drive to all sorts of things to see and do in Darien, Saint Simons Island, Jekyll Island, Brunswick, Savannah and Jacksonville.

THINGS TO SEE & DO
Sapelo Island
The state protected island is located in McIntosh County and is accessible by boat/ferry. Check out their charming lighthouse and pristine beaches.

Saint Simons Island
The island is home to the famous St. Simons Pier and East Beach and has some of the best golf, restaurants and shopping around.

Jekyll Island
A state park known for their Sea Turtle Center, Driftwood Beach, golf course and its historic district with homes which belonged to figures such as JP Morgan & William Vanderbilt.

Cumberland Island
Visit the Dungeness Ruins, once the home to tycoon Andre Carnegie. The island is home to 200 feral horses, first abandoned in the 16th century by the Spanish Conquistadors.

Darien
Explore Fort King George and Howfyl Plantation. Shop & dine downtown with its boutique stores, antique dealers and seafood restaurants.
